Christmas with your loved ones… but why not treat yourself to a weekend full of fun, culture, and great food for the rest of the holidays?
CHRISTMAS IN SIENA… because Siena has so much to offer during the Christmas season.
The quintessential medieval city, which fascinates with its elegance and simplicity, shines with a thousand lights at Christmas.

Walking through the streets of the center of Siena, you can taste the Christmas atmosphere in every corner, with craft markets, roasted chestnuts, and the windows of pastry shops displaying typical Sienese sweets like panforte and ricciarelli.
And what about the famous Piazza del Campo in Siena? This year, it offers a Videomapping show on the Palazzo Pubblico, dedicated to Lorenzetti’s fresco cycle. Projections will take place every 10 minutes from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
Additionally, a touch of color and light will be provided by the modern art installations of Marco Lodola, with a traveling exhibition in various spaces of the historic center of Siena.
The electric train will be a convenient way to move around and visit various areas of the city.
Throughout the holidays, it will be possible to explore Siena accompanied by tour guides.
With them, you can discover our traditions and the history of the city.

What to do on New Year’s Eve in Siena?
For the longest night of the year, Siena won’t disappoint. Music, music, and more music in all the squares, with different genres to suit all tastes. In the square, various DJ sets will alternate to make us dance during the Silent Night.
The restaurants in Siena offer à la carte menus, and some even provide the classic New Year’s Eve dinner.
Our advice is to organize yourself in advance so you can choose whether to make the toast at the restaurant or in Piazza del Campo!
We just want to wish you a Merry Christmas, and if you want to visit us, you’ll always find the best offers on our website to celebrate the New Year in Siena.
Best wishes!!
